The Mampana Foundation began when the Mampana Family saw a need in the village of Spitspunt — a need that could no longer be ignored. On a return visit, they witnessed children going hungry and falling behind, not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked support. One quiet moment sparked a lifelong mission: to feed young minds, support early learning, and restore dignity in rural Limpopo.
Today, we serve where help is needed most — right at the roots. Through food, education, and community care, we’re working to ensure that no child is left behind simply because of where they were born.

We provide daily meals and food parcels to children and families facing food insecurity, ensuring no child is too hungry to learn or grow.
Learning Support
We supply crèches and young learners with school bags, books, and basic educational tools — giving children a fair start, right from the beginning.

Our work is built from the ground up — led by local voices, informed by real needs, and powered by those who live where the help is needed most.

Spitspunt: The Village We Serve
Spitspunt is a rural village in Limpopo where daily challenges are met with resilience, and hope lives in every child’s smile. Many families here face food insecurity, limited early education resources, and a lack of basic infrastructure.
This is where the Mampana Foundation began — not as an outside intervention, but as a grassroots response to real needs. From creches to kitchens, every effort we make starts right here, with the people of Spitspunt.
